All Souls’ Day Remembrances
November 2 is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, or All Souls’ Day. An insert will be included in this weekend’s bulletin to list those family members and friends whom you want to be remembered. Parishioners who are not yet able to attend Mass can email, phone or mail your remembrances to the parish office. All of the lists will be placed in a basket on the altar for the month of November.
Diocesan Pastoral Council Nominations
Nominations are being accepted through November 1 for two persons from our parish who will serve on a Vicariate Pastoral Council. Three persons from that council will then be elected to serve on the Diocesan Pastoral Council. There will be at least two meetings annually and the term is for three years. More information was shared in an email from Fr. Thomas yesterday. A nomination form will be in this Sunday’s bulletin; nominations can also be submitted via email or phone to the office. Ballot voting will take place the weekend of November 8.
