and at the same time you make others feel better by helping them in numerous ways made possible by your involvement in the church and in the community.

Assumption Church Ladies Guild
Love thy neighbor with one small act of kindness at a time.


Purpose
To identify and assist in meeting parish needs
To support not only the needs of the church but our local community
To foster friendship and spiritual well-being among parishioners

Membership
Every female age 18 or older is a member and is encouraged to participate in all activities as able

Services

Based on the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy

  • Provide bereavement dinners
  • ​Host receptions for parishioners following First Communion, Confirmation, and other special occasions
  • Prepare baskets for the homebound and nursing home residents on holidays
  • Send sunshine cards
  • ​Deliver simple meals to parishioners' homes following discharge from the hospital or nursing home, birth of a baby, or during a time of crisis
  • Pray for those with special needs 
  • Assist with Helping Hands
  • Donate to Warm the Children
  • Donate to Family Crisis Center
  • Donate to local Food Pantry
  • Visit the sick
