Special Mass to be Celebrated by Deacon Phillip
Deacon Phillip Szabo, who will be ordained to the priesthood on May 29, will celebrate a special Mass at our church on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, at 6 p.m. You can register for this Mass as you would other Masses.
Following the Mass we will present him with a monetary gift from our Parish. If you would like to contribute toward this gift, donations can be mailed to the parish or dropped in the offertory basket in an envelope marked for Deacon Phillip, now through May 25. Checks should be made payable to the Church of the Assumption.
Phillip’s ordination will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town on Saturday, May 29, at 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend; there is no need to RSVP.
